Matièr is a subscription-based cosmetics brand that delivers expert guidance through a magazine-like experience. Rooted in refinement, the brand reflects the belief that beauty comes from enhancing what already exists. Starting from a neutral typeface, we developed a custom typography system that transforms the ordinary into something refined, which extends into collectible, editorial-style packaging inspired by material and color narratives. We built a cohesive and scalable system that connects brand, product, and experience into one unified structure, positioning Matièr beyond a traditional cosmetics brand as a curated magazine.
